War in Ukraine: Standing in Solidarity

Like the rest of the world, we are watching the war in Ukraine with horror and condemn the invasion in the strongest possible terms. An act as inhumane and unjustified as this attacks democracy and humanity. Twelve Data does not condone violence or aggression, and we condemn the Russian war in Ukraine.

I want to share some of the company’s actions to protect and support our colleagues impacted by the crisis and to be clear that we are not selling technology in Russia.

The safety and protection of our colleagues in the region are of the utmost importance. For more than a week, we have been in constant contact with our local teams to provide financial and logistical support to make this incredibly difficult step as easy as possible. Before the war began, we offered Twelve Data employees in Ukraine and their families the opportunity to relocate at the company's expense. Some of them have been able to move into neighboring countries safely. We are also working to support and protect team members in Russia who are subject to their own rules and laws.

In addition to not selling technology in Russia, we do not do business with the Russian military or government-affiliated agencies. We will continue to serve our existing customers within the scope of our contractual commitments and as far as sanctions and export control restrictions permit, but we will not accept new orders or solicit new business. Finally, we know about the passion and concern of our employees who want to help, and we are encouraging them to make donations to the Red Cross. Twelve Data is matching those employee donations.

The Twelve Data family stands with everyone affected and horrified by the events in Ukraine. There are no winners in war, and we join others in calling for the restoration of peace.

Thank you,
Sergey Sokolov, CEO of Twelve Data.
