Description
iShares € Corp Bond Enhanced Active UCITS ETF is an actively managed exchange-traded fund domiciled in Ireland and issued by iShares III plc. Its primary objective is to deliver total return to investors, encompassing both capital appreciation and income, by investing at least 80% of assets in investment-grade fixed income securities issued by corporate entities in developed markets, all denominated in euros. Up to 20% may be allocated to euro-denominated government, municipal, sovereign, and supranational bonds or related instruments. Benchmarking the Bloomberg Euro Corporate Bond Index, it employs an enhanced active strategy incorporating sustainability criteria and fundamental analysis for security selection. Key portfolio traits include an average weighted maturity of 4.72 years, effective duration of 4.52 years, yield to maturity of 3.25%, and 196 holdings, with a low total expense ratio of 0.20%. As an accumulating share class under SFDR Article 8 classification, it reinvests income, providing exposure to the euro corporate bond market while emphasizing liquidity and ESG considerations. Launched in March 2025, it plays a role in fixed income portfolios seeking active management within the European UCITS framework.
