Overview
Description
iShares AEX UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the AEX index, comprising the 25 largest and most actively traded companies on the Dutch stock market. Its primary function is to deliver diversified exposure to the Dutch large-cap equity sector through a single, liquid security, employing a physical full replication strategy by holding all index constituents in exact proportion to their weights. As an accumulating ETF, it reinvests dividends from underlying holdings to foster compound growth rather than distributing them to investors. Managed by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited and domiciled in Ireland, the fund adheres to stringent UCITS regulations, ensuring diversification (no single holding exceeds 10% of net asset value), liquidity, asset segregation by an independent custodian, transparency via regular reporting, and investor protection against risks like excessive leverage or counterparty exposure. With a total expense ratio of 0.30% per annum and approximately EUR 50 million in assets under management, it holds around 26 securities primarily in technology, consumer staples, industrials, and energy sectors, predominantly from the Netherlands. Launched on 29 July 2020, iShares AEX UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) offers efficient, cost-effective access to Dutch market leaders for a broad range of investors.
