Overview
Description
iShares € High Yield Corp Bond UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) is an accumulating exchange-traded fund that tracks the Markit iBoxx Euro Liquid High Yield Index, comprising euro-denominated high yield corporate bonds from sub-investment grade issuers. Launched on September 3, 2010, and domiciled in Ireland, it employs a physical, sampled replication methodology to provide diversified exposure to fixed and floating rate bonds across sectors such as industrials, utilities, and financials. With net assets exceeding 8 billion euros and approximately 649 holdings, the ETF features a total expense ratio of 0.50%, weighted average maturity of around 2.85 to 3.45 years, effective duration of 2.44 to 3.21 years, and a yield to maturity near 4.95%. As an accumulating share class, it reinvests income rather than distributing it, minimizing currency risk through its euro focus. This ETF plays a key role in fixed income markets by offering European investors efficient access to liquid high yield debt, balancing income potential with credit risk in a UCITS-compliant structure.
