Description
Invesco India ETF is an exchange-traded fund designed to track the FTSE India Quality and Yield Select Index, a modified market-capitalization-weighted benchmark of equity securities traded on the National Stock Exchange of India. It invests at least 90% of its assets in securities comprising the index, including American Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts, focusing on companies with higher dividend yields and quality scores by excluding the bottom 10% in each category from the broader FTSE India Index. The fund holds approximately 220-223 stocks, with top holdings like HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, and ICICI Bank, and significant sector allocations to financials (around 25%), consumer discretionary, materials, information technology, and industrials. As a non-diversified ETF with an expense ratio of 0.78%, it provides U.S. investors targeted exposure to large- and mid-cap Indian equities, capturing growth in India's fast-expanding economy while emphasizing quality and income characteristics. The ETF, formerly ticker PIN, changed to IMVP effective February 23, 2026, reflecting its role in offering accessible access to India's dynamic equity markets.
