WisdomTree Zinc is a fully collateralised, UCITS-eligible Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) that provides investors with total return exposure to the zinc market. Launched in 2006 and domiciled in Jersey, it tracks the Bloomberg Commodity Zinc Subindex 4W Total Return, which reflects the performance of zinc futures contracts rolled on a predetermined schedule. This synthetic replication uses fully funded collateralised swaps backed by high-quality government bonds from countries like the United States, Germany, and Austria, held in segregated accounts and managed daily to mitigate counterparty risk. With a management expense ratio of 0.49%, unhedged USD base currency, and no physical delivery, WisdomTree Zinc offers a straightforward way to access zinc prices without direct commodity ownership.
