Description
Xtrackers II Global Government Bond UCITS ETF 1C EUR Hedged is an exchange-traded fund that provides investors with exposure to global fixed income markets through sovereign bonds issued by governments of developed countries. Launched on October 20, 2008, and domiciled in Luxembourg, the ETF is managed by Deutsche Asset Management and focuses on local currency-denominated, fixed-rate investment-grade bonds rated by S&P, Moody’s, and Fitch, with a minimum maturity of one year. It employs a representative sampling methodology to track the performance of the Citi World Government Bond Index - Developed Markets, offering broad coverage across the yield curve. This EUR-hedged share class mitigates currency risk for euro-based investors, accumulating dividends for reinvestment and maintaining a total expense ratio of 0.25% per annum. With approximately 764 million euros in assets under management, the ETF plays a key role in diversified fixed income portfolios, serving as a benchmark for global government bond exposure in developed markets and appealing to those seeking stability and liquidity in their allocations.
