Description
iShares US Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF EUR Hedged (Acc) is a passive exchange-traded fund that tracks the Bloomberg US Aggregate Bond Index with currency hedging to the Euro. The fund invests in a diversified portfolio of USD-denominated fixed-rate bonds, including US Treasury securities, government-related bonds, securitized instruments such as mortgage-backed securities, and investment-grade corporate bonds. By employing a sampling technique, the fund holds a selection of the most relevant index constituents rather than all securities in the benchmark. The fund is denominated in Euro with currency risk hedged through forward contracts to reduce exchange rate fluctuations between the Euro and the underlying US Dollar portfolio. As an accumulating share class, all income from bond coupons is reinvested rather than distributed to investors. The fund operates with a low total expense ratio, making it an efficient vehicle for Euro-based investors seeking exposure to the broad US fixed income market. Domiciled in Ireland and regulated as a UCITS ETF, it provides transparent, liquid access to investment-grade bonds across various maturities and sectors.
