It targets a diverse array of securitized products, including collateralized loan obligations, residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities, as well as ABS backed by auto loans, credit card receivables, student loans, equipment leases, business loans, and other consumer and commercial collateral. Managed by State Street Investment Management’s Active Fixed Income Team, the fund employs a risk-aware top-down strategy combined with bottom-up security selection to overweight compelling sectors and issuers, aiming to deliver current income and risk-adjusted returns. It provides access to private ABS, including those sourced through Apollo Global Securities, LLC, alongside public markets, offering diversified income sources supported by underlying asset pools rather than corporate balance sheets. With structural credit enhancements like subordination and excess spread, it complements core fixed income portfolios by tapping underrepresented ABS segments in traditional bond benchmarks, featuring monthly distributions and a focus on senior investment-grade exposures.
