Description
iShares USD Treasury Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF (Dist) is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to replicate the price and yield performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 1-3 Year Bond Index. It invests primarily in a diversified portfolio of U.S. Treasury notes with maturities ranging from 1 to 3 years, featuring holdings such as USA Notes 1.5% 31jan2027 and USA Notes 3.5% 30sep2026, each comprising around 1.5-1.6% of assets. Domiciled in Ireland and managed by iShares, a BlackRock brand, the ETF distributes income semi-annually and maintains a low total expense ratio of 0.07% per annum. Launched in June 2006, it holds approximately 1,983 million Euros in assets under management, providing unhedged USD exposure to the U.S. government bond sector. This ETF plays a key role in fixed income markets by offering investors targeted access to short-term Treasuries, known for their liquidity and backing by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government, facilitating portfolio diversification and interest rate management strategies.
