Description
The iShares Core EURO STOXX 50 UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to replicate the performance of the EURO STOXX 50 Index, comprising the 50 largest and most liquid blue-chip companies across the Eurozone. This index, designed by STOXX and owned by the Deutsche Börse Group, captures sector leaders based on free-float market capitalization, with individual constituent weights capped at 10% to ensure diversification. Key holdings include prominent firms such as ASML Holding from the Netherlands, Siemens and SAP from Germany, Banco Santander from Spain, Allianz from Germany, Schneider Electric and TotalEnergies from France, and LVMH from France, spanning industries like technology, industrials, financials, energy, and consumer goods. Domiciled in Ireland and managed by iShares (BlackRock), the ETF features a low total expense ratio of 0.10% per annum, physical replication, and an accumulating distribution policy, reinvesting dividends. With assets under management exceeding EUR 7 billion, it provides investors with targeted exposure to Eurozone market leaders, underlying significant ETF assets, futures, options, and structured products in European financial markets. Launched in January 2010, it plays a vital role as a benchmark for Eurozone equity performance.
