Description
iShares € Govt Bond 7-10yr UCITS ETF EUR (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the Bloomberg Euro Government Bond 10 Year Term Index, focusing on investment-grade government bonds from Eurozone member states with remaining maturities of 7 to 10 years. Launched in June 2009 and domiciled in Ireland, this physically replicated, UCITS-compliant ETF provides targeted exposure to fixed-rate, euro-denominated sovereign debt from key issuers such as France (approximately 29%), Germany (26%), Italy (21%), and Spain (19%). As an accumulating fund, it reinvests interest income rather than distributing it, supporting long-term capital growth for investors seeking intermediate-term fixed income exposure. The portfolio features an average weighted maturity of 8.50 years, effective duration of 7.36 years, yield to maturity around 3.13%, and 29 holdings rated BBB- or higher by S&P/Fitch and Baa3 or above by Moody’s. Managed by BlackRock, it employs representative sampling to mirror the index, offering a low-cost, transparent option in the Euro government bond market without ESG focus.
