Description
iShares $ High Yield Corp Bond UCITS ETF MXN Hedged (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund designed to track the performance of the Markit iBoxx USD Liquid High Yield Capped Index, focusing on USD-denominated high yield corporate bonds. This accumulating share class reinvests income rather than distributing dividends, resulting in zero dividend payments. Hedged to Mexican Pesos (MXN), it mitigates currency risk between the USD bond portfolio and MXN investors, with a total expense ratio of 0.55%. The ETF employs a physical, sampled replication strategy, holding approximately 1,342 bonds with an effective duration of around 3.07 years, yield to maturity of 6.09%, and weighted average maturity of 3.71-3.77 years. Top holdings include bonds from issuers like GEO Group, Celanese US Holdings, Icahn Enterprises, and Methanex, spanning sectors such as energy and real estate, primarily from the United States. Launched on 31 August 2018 and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited, it provides European UCITS-compliant access to U.S. high yield fixed income for MXN-based portfolios, emphasizing liquidity and diversification in the high yield corporate bond market.
