SPDR Bloomberg 1-3 Year Euro Government Bond UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund designed to track the performance of the Bloomberg Euro 1-3 Year Treasury Bond Index, focusing on short-dated Eurozone government bonds. It invests in euro-denominated, fixed-rate securities from countries including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain, with maturities between one and up to three years. Primarily comprising investment-grade bonds rated BBB- or higher by S&P and Fitch, or Baa3 or above by Moody's, the ETF holds around 105 securities, emphasizing high-quality issuers across AAA to BAA ratings. Launched on 14 November 2011 and domiciled in Ireland, it employs a stratified sampling replication method and distributes income semi-annually, with a total expense ratio of 0.15%. Managing over €1 billion in assets, this UCITS-compliant fund offers exposure to low-volatility, short-term sovereign debt, playing a key role in fixed-income portfolios for liquidity and interest rate risk management within the Eurozone market.
