Description
iShares AEX UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the AEX Index, consisting of the 30 largest and most actively traded companies on the Dutch stock market. Launched on November 18, 2005, and domiciled in Ireland, it uses a full physical replication strategy by holding all index constituents in proportion to their weightings, focusing on large-cap Dutch equities across diverse sectors including financials, energy, technology, consumer goods, industrials, and consumer defensive. Managed by BlackRock under the iShares brand, the ETF delivers total returns through capital appreciation and quarterly dividend distributions, without currency hedging to provide direct exposure to Euro-denominated assets. With a fund size around EUR 669-672 million and a total expense ratio of 0.30% p.a., it adheres to UCITS regulations for liquidity and investor protection, serving as a key vehicle for targeted access to the Netherlands' blue-chip stocks and reflecting the broader Dutch equity market performance.
