Description
JPMorgan EUR Corporate Bond Research Enhanced Index (ESG) UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund domiciled in Ireland that provides investors with targeted exposure to the euro-denominated investment grade corporate bond market. Launched in December 2018, it employs an actively managed strategy enhanced by J.P. Morgan's proprietary credit research to select high-quality bonds from eurozone issuers, while systematically integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors to promote sustainable investment practices. Classified under Article 8 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the ETF focuses on refining bond selection for attractive risk-adjusted returns, avoiding uncompensated risks through a rules-based framework that combines passive indexing with active insights. As an accumulating vehicle, it reinvests all interest income to compound value over time, denominated in euros with no currency hedging. With a low total expense ratio of 0.04% p.a. and assets under management around €595 million, it serves as a cost-effective option for fixed income portfolios seeking diversified, responsible exposure to European corporate debt across various sectors.
