Description
SPDR FTSE UK All Share UCITS ETF (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited, domiciled in Ireland and launched on February 28, 2012. It aims to closely track the performance of the FTSE All-Share Index, a market-capitalization-weighted benchmark representing approximately 98% of the UK equity market's capitalization. This index encompasses large, mid, and small-cap companies listed on the London Stock Exchange's main market, passing screens for size and liquidity, and combines the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, and FTSE Small Cap universes. The ETF employs a representative sampling methodology for physical replication, investing in stocks across diversified sectors including financials (around 29%), consumer staples (14%), health care (12%), industrials (12%), and energy (8%), among 512 holdings. With an accumulation share class, it reinvests dividends, maintaining a low total expense ratio of 0.20% and minimal tracking error. Total fund assets stand at approximately £507 million, providing investors broad exposure to the overall UK equity market in a cost-efficient, UCITS-compliant vehicle.
