Description
Xtrackers II EUR High Yield Corporate Bond UCITS ETF 1D is an exchange-traded fund that tracks the Markit iBoxx EUR Liquid High Yield Index, providing exposure to euro-denominated high-yield corporate bonds. These bonds, issued by companies with sub-investment grade ratings (minimum CCC), offer higher yields to compensate for elevated credit risk compared to investment-grade securities. The ETF focuses on liquid bonds with maturities of at least two years for new entries, employing physical replication through representative sampling to mirror index performance. Launched on January 8, 2015, and domiciled in Luxembourg, it manages approximately 1,113 million euros in assets under management with a low total expense ratio of 0.20% per annum. As a distributing ETF, it pays quarterly dividends, delivering a current yield of 4.73% based on the last 12 months' payout of 0.76 euros per share. Key holdings include bonds from issuers like Lorca Telecom Bondco, Teva Pharmaceutical, and Grifols, spanning various corporate sectors. This ETF serves a significant role in fixed-income markets by enabling diversified access to the European high-yield segment, balancing income potential with credit and interest rate risks in investor portfolios.
