Description
SPDR S&P 500 UCITS ETF (Acc) is an exchange-traded fund designed to track the performance of the S&P 500 Index, a float-adjusted, market-capitalization-weighted benchmark comprising the 500 largest U.S. companies across over 24 industry groups, capturing about 75% of U.S. equity market capitalization. Launched on October 31, 2023, and domiciled in Ireland, it employs a full replication strategy by holding all index constituents in proportion to their weights, ensuring close alignment with the benchmark. Managed by State Street Global Advisors Europe Limited, the ETF features an ultra-low total expense ratio of 0.03% and an accumulation share class that reinvests dividends, with its share class currency in USD. It trades in multiple currencies including EUR, GBP, and USD across major European exchanges and is UCITS compliant, eligible for ISAs and SIPPs in the UK. Key holdings include leaders like Alphabet Inc. Class C (2.54%) and Meta Platforms Inc. Class A (2.43%), with heavy weighting in information technology (33.01%), financials (13.11%), and communication services (10.55%). With approximately $13.8 billion in share class assets and over 806 million shares outstanding, it provides European investors efficient access to the broad U.S. large-cap equity market.
