Overview
Description
iShares Swiss Domestic Government Bond 7-15 ETF (CH) is a fixed income exchange-traded fund that focuses on medium-term Swiss government bonds. The fund aims to track the performance of the SBI Domestic Government Mid Price 7–15 Total Return Index by investing primarily in bonds issued by the Swiss Confederation with remaining maturities between seven and fifteen years. Its portfolio is highly concentrated in Swiss sovereign debt, providing targeted exposure to the Swiss franc bond market and the interest rate segment around the intermediate part of the yield curve. The ETF uses physical replication to mirror the index and is structured as a distributing fund, paying out income generated by its underlying holdings. Launched in 2003 and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Schweiz AG, it has grown to a substantial asset base, reflecting its role as a core instrument for accessing Swiss government bond duration in a transparent, rules-based format.
