Description
Rize Sustainable Future of Food UCITS ETF is an equity exchange-traded fund designed to provide exposure to companies innovating throughout the global food value chain. Its primary objective is to replicate the performance of the Foxberry Tematica Research Sustainable Future of Food Index, which focuses on firms leading the transition towards more sustainable, efficient, and healthier food systems. The ETF's portfolio includes approximately 50–53 holdings, with significant weights in companies involved in areas such as plant-based foods, sustainable agriculture, food science, supply chain advancements, and alternative proteins.
The fund employs a physical, fully replicating strategy and maintains an accumulating distribution policy, meaning it reinvests income rather than paying dividends. With a total expense ratio of 0.45% per annum, it caters to investors interested in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investing theme, and is classified as an Article 9 product under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), reflecting its sustainability focus. Launched in August 2020, the Rize Sustainable Future of Food UCITS ETF plays a distinctive role in the market by targeting investment opportunities driven by the demand for better food production practices and the increasing importance of sustainable food solutions.
