Description
Amundi Core S&P 500 Swap UCITS ETF Acc is a UCITS-compliant exchange-traded fund structured as a Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 Net Total Return Index, a benchmark tracking approximately 500 leading U.S. large-cap companies that represent about 80% of the U.S. free-float market capitalization. The fund employs an unfunded swap replication model to achieve synthetic exposure to the index, encompassing key sectors such as electronic technology (around 27%) and technology services (about 20.5%), with top holdings including Apple, NVIDIA, and Microsoft. As an accumulating ETF, it automatically reinvests dividends to support compounding, rather than distributing them. Launched on December 8, 2014, it features a low total expense ratio of 0.05% and has grown significantly, managing over 19 billion euros in assets as of late 2024. This ETF provides European investors with efficient, low-cost access to the U.S. equity market's growth and diversification, emphasizing large-cap stability across industries like finance, healthcare, and consumer goods.
