Description
Xtrackers II Eurozone Government Bond 0-1 UCITS ETF 1C is an exchange-traded fund that provides targeted exposure to short-term, euro-denominated government bonds issued by Eurozone countries. Launched on 12 September 2023 and domiciled in Luxembourg, it tracks the iBoxx® EUR Sovereigns 0-1 Capped index, focusing exclusively on investment-grade bonds with maturities of 0-1 year and a minimum outstanding amount of €1 billion per bond. The ETF employs a physical sampling replication method, holding 51 securities primarily from France, Germany, Spain, and Italy, with top holdings representing about 38.75% of the portfolio. Featuring a low total expense ratio of 0.07% p.a. and an accumulating distribution policy, it reinvests interest income to enhance compounded growth while maintaining high liquidity and minimal credit risk due to its sovereign issuers. As a UCITS-compliant fund managed by Xtrackers (DWS), it offers investors a low-duration, low-volatility fixed-income vehicle ideal for capital preservation, interest rate risk management, and cash equivalents in diversified portfolios, particularly amid varying monetary policies in the Eurozone. With assets under management around €15 million, it serves as an efficient tool for institutional and retail exposure to stable, short-term government debt.
