WisdomTree Strategic Metals UCITS ETF - USD Acc is an exchange-traded fund that seeks to track the WisdomTree Energy Transition Metals Commodity UCITS Index. This index provides exposure to a diversified basket of metal commodities essential for energy transition technologies, including electric vehicles, energy storage, solar, wind, transmission, charging, and hydrogen production. The portfolio currently includes copper, nickel, aluminium, silver, zinc, tin, lead, platinum, lithium, and cobalt, with selection and weighting determined by a forward-looking Intensity Rating developed in partnership with Wood Mackenzie. This rating combines energy transition demand forecasts with market balance assessments, capping each commodity at 20% and rebalancing semi-annually in January and July. The ETF employs synthetic replication via an unfunded swap, accumulates income, and is denominated in USD without currency hedging. Domiciled in Ireland and launched in 2025, it is UCITS compliant and classified as Article 8 under SFDR, offering investors targeted access to industrial metals driving the global shift toward sustainable energy systems.
