Description
Zanaga Iron Ore Company Limited is a high-grade iron ore exploration and development company headquartered in Road Town, British Virgin Islands, and incorporated in 2009. The company holds 100% ownership of its flagship asset, the Zanaga Iron Ore Project, located in the south-west of the Republic of Congo, one of the world’s largest undeveloped iron ore resources with 6.9 billion tonnes indicated and inferred resources and 2.1 billion tonnes of ore reserves under the JORC Code (2012). The project aims to produce premium direct reduced iron (DRI) pellet feed grading 68.5-69.1% Fe, suitable for green steel production, with plans for large-scale output of 12-30 million tonnes per annum over a 30-year mine life in two stages. Zanaga Iron Ore Company Limited focuses on responsibly developing this world-class asset through mining, processing, transportation, and export capabilities, supported by an experienced board including mining industry veterans. Operating in the basic materials sector, specifically steel and iron ore, it plays a key role in supplying high-quality resources to meet growing global demand for low-carbon steelmaking while contributing to economic growth in the Republic of Congo.
