Description
The Amundi Core EUR High Yield Bond UCITS ETF Acc is an exchange-traded fund that passively tracks the iBoxx EUR Liquid High Yield Index, providing exposure to euro-denominated liquid corporate bonds rated below investment grade, known as high-yield or sub-investment grade securities. Launched on July 15, 2025, and domiciled in Luxembourg, this accumulating ETF reinvests all income into the fund, enhancing share price value without distributions. It employs direct replication by holding index constituents in close proportion, supplemented by derivatives for efficient portfolio management and securities lending to offset costs, with a low total expense ratio of 0.15% per annum. Managing approximately 65 million euros in assets, the fund targets investors seeking higher yields from riskier corporate debt while minimizing tracking error against the benchmark, a total return index from S&P Dow Jones Indices. High-yield bonds in the index offer elevated interest payments to compensate for greater default risk compared to investment-grade bonds, playing a key role in fixed-income markets for income generation and diversification. The recommended holding period is four years, aligning with its medium-term risk profile.
