Description
The HSBC ICAV Euro Corporate Bond ETF is a passively managed exchange-traded fund that aims to track the performance of investment-grade corporate bonds denominated in euros. It provides diversified exposure to the euro-denominated corporate bond market, investing primarily in bonds issued by both developed and, selectively, emerging market companies. The ETF may also hold bonds from government-related and supranational entities, along with limited amounts of cash and money market instruments. Managed by the HSBC Passive Fixed Income Team, the fund employs an optimized sampling strategy, meaning it doesn't necessarily replicate every constituent of its benchmark index but instead seeks to closely match its risk and return profile. The fund complies with UCITS regulations and features daily liquidity, with an accumulating dividend structure. Its fully hedged share class is denominated in euros, mitigating currency risk for euro-based investors. This ETF serves institutional and private investors seeking efficient, cost-effective access to the European investment-grade corporate bond sector for portfolio diversification and income generation.
