Description
Invesco MSCI Emerging Markets UCITS ETF is an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that seeks to replicate the net total return performance of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, less fees, expenses, and transaction costs. This passively managed fund provides exposure to large and mid-cap stocks across 22 emerging market countries, including China, India, Taiwan, Brazil, and South Africa, using a free float-adjusted market capitalization methodology with quarterly rebalancing. It employs unfunded swaps with approved counterparties, backed by a basket of equities and equity-related securities, to achieve index tracking, while maintaining a USD base currency and unhedged currency risk exposure. Launched on 26 April 2010 and domiciled in Ireland as a sub-fund of Invesco Markets plc, the ETF features an accumulating distribution policy, reinvesting dividends to compound returns without payouts to investors. With a total expense ratio of 0.19% per annum and assets under management around EUR 363 million, it carries a medium risk rating of 4 out of 7, suitable for a recommended holding period of 5 years, playing a key role in offering diversified access to high-growth emerging market equities within global portfolios.
