iShares Physical Gold ETC is an exchange-traded commodity that provides direct exposure to the spot price of physical gold bullion. It is structured as secured debt securities issued by iShares Physical Metals plc and is backed by allocated gold bars that meet London Bullion Market Association Good Delivery standards, held in highly secure custody by JPMorgan in London. The ETC’s value is linked to the LBMA Gold Price and each security has a defined metal entitlement, representing the amount of physical gold backing it.
